Animal Products at your event

"Vegan" isn't a diet.  It is a lifestyle. This means it isn't all about the food!

Animals are used for clothing, experiments, entertainment and unnecessary everyday items. Your vegan event is so much more than just fakin' bacon and raw broccoli! There are many aspects to keep in mind as you're planning your cruelty-free day.

56 billion animals are killed every year for food alone.

One of the most important elements of a vegan event is the food, yet this is an idea of which many guests may be skeptical. We want to help you wow them with meals that will make them say "I can't believe this is vegan!"

Over 800,000 animals were used for testing last year.

Luckily, the beauty industry is quickly adopting a cruelty-free precedent, but there are still countless companies that test their products on animals that are kept in confined cages and disregarded as objects. We want to guide you in the direction of completely ethical beauty products, and introduce you to hair and makeup artists that share the same beliefs.

It takes 12 geese to create one down pillow

Animals used for down have their feathers torn off of them while they're fully conscious. Sheep are stripped of their own fur and suffer from major cuts and broken bones in the process. There are many vegan and vegan-friendly clothing designers that will appeal to and understand your desire for a cruelty-free wardrobe on your wedding day. We're here to find them for you.

There are 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean

The waste that is accumulated from weddings is astronomical. On average, a wedding of 100-200 people produces 400-600 pounds of waste! This ultimately ends up in our oceans and creates dangerous environments for marine life.

Can you find a silk-free wedding dress that doesn’t feel like a scratchy petticoat from the 18th century?

Do you live in California and wonder why you can’t find a tux without wool when your wedding day is smack dab in the middle of summer?

Are you discouraged with the amount of wine that’s filtered through fish bladders?! (yeah… that’s a thing).

Are you struggling with the moral dilemma of wanting alllll the wedding gifts, but not sure how to deal with the waste they will create?

These are all questions and concerns that our clients have, and we're here to assure you that there ARE vegan and eco-friendly options for all of your event needs. We will work with your budget, and promise not to judge you if you're not a level 10 vegan (we're only level 7, ourselves). We're all on a journey to do less harm, and we support and encourage everyone's road to get there, however different they may be.
